3699 Canterbury Dr., Long Grove, looking SW. The house was only five years old in the photo, but was torn down a few years ago. The driveway remains in situ. Curiously, it appears this was the only house left in the subdivision. Canterbury Dr. was longer and ended in a cul de sac, just north of Spring Valley Rd. Another small cul de sac branched off it as well. There appears to have been eleven total lots with plenty of wetland around, so maybe a perpetual flooding issue?
