SW side of I-94 and Rt. 176., looking SW. This place was Jamaican Gardens Nursery at the end of its life. It’s since been redeveloped into a senior living complex. The garage for 14621 W. Rockland Rd. is visible on the right edge of the photo. The old alignment of Rockland Rd. is apparent in this photo, as some of the old roadway is still visible. Today it just shows up as some extra gravel making the shoulder slightly wider in that spot, and for whatever reason (I'm guessing property lines), the parking lot for the new building follows the old alignment.
