Johnsburg jr high

Johnsburg Middle School, now known as the Johnsburg Junior High School, is located at 2220 W. Church St., in Johnsburg. The school was officially opened in 1968. To the bottom left is the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.

Always has been Johnsburg Jr High. Middle school (not pictured) built later. My stepfather, Charles O. Baehne was the building construction Superintendent 1968. We moved from Arlington Heights for his job and my oldest sibling was first to attend this school in 6th grade. James C Bush Elementary was K-5 at the time.
