Where the Best Western Hotel is located today, is this restaurant, whose name I cannot read. 1709 West Morton Avenue, U.S. 67, Illinois 104, Jacksonville, Illinois. The small building to the east is still there. Looking south.

In 1989, I believe it would have been either Sirloin Stockade or Golden Corral.
