Looking NNE. The house stood until around 2004/2005. The barn had been demolished prior to 1988 and replaced with a machine shed just to the east of its former location. That building remained until construction began on the Zion United Church of Christ around 2014. At the lower right of the photo, you can see the west side of the brick house that is located at 406 W Hanover St, New Baden, IL 62265. North Clinton Street is in the center of the photo and Illinois Route 161 is at far lower right. The waterway to the left of the barn is still visible today.
