Lincoln Trail State Bank
Skip's Drive-in located in lower left of picture, my old neighborhood(1957-1963) at the top of picture.
Midway Bowl is the top right building. This whole area is now all commercialized with newer buildings
My old neighborhood. My house is almost visible on upper left hand corner. If picture were a little more south it could be seen.
Mansard roofed building (down from the bank) was the Fairview Hts. Chamber of commerece building. My dad helped build it & was a member/past president. The building was moved to and still exists at the SE corner of 161 & 159...just below the bank (between the bank & the restaurant), down in the 'hole'.
