This was Lancaster School, at the southwest corner of Dakota Road and Brick School Road. The school building no longer exists, as a major fire occurred on April 11, 1977 (Freeport Journal-Standard, 4/12/1977). The school operated through the 1948-49 school year, when it was part of the Dakota 201 school district.
