I believe this property was situated at Amos Corner which is the intersection of Kickapoo Road and Henning Road. The property was owned by Mr. Long. They were our neighbors.

19042 County Road 1300 East (19042 Henning Road) Danville, IL 61834.
Looking SW. Intersection of Amos Corner Road/Hungry Hollow Road and Henning Road. The old Amos Corner Road is barely visible today. Amos Corner Road was the old entrance to Kickapoo State Park before parts of its south side began washing out towards the old strip mine pond. They built the current main (east) entrance to the park about a half-a-mile north.
