My parents purchased this farm in 1963, when I was 15 and my brothers were 9 and 3. We moved to this property from Mercer County, Ohio.

I believe it was the late 70's when my grandpa, Lehnford Bohnke, owner of Crownway Dairy Farms purchased this property from Dale Caffee. My dad always told me he used to keep young calves and heifers here and when they were older they were brought to the herd of dairy cows at Crownway. Later he would sell this property to Greg Kukelhan.
