This farm was located on what is now West Chase Golf Club at

The house stood roughly where the main club house stands today. The silo seen in the far right of the photo still stands. Research in local records and historic atlases indicates this as being the house and farm of Harmon McCaslin (1814-1871) and Mahala Smith McCaslin (1814-1871). The house is included in the 1989 Hendricks County IHSSI. The style of the home indicates a built date of c 1860.
