yep, that's Union Elementary

I would have been in the 3rd grade there when the picture was taken. I remember the gravel parking lot well. It is paved now making it look much different and of course they have air conditioning which we did not back then!!

This is THE elementary school of all schools. Best ever! Teachers and lunch ladies that rocked. Best bus drivers too!!! And o course a building full of the best country kids ever <3

My kid went there, I did, my dad graduated from Union High in 1946 and my grandpa graduated from Union HIgh in 1918 but wasnt the same school, and mom worked there for 24 years. The smokestack is gone. I have a book from Union and on the inside cover is written "smokestack at Union township is 66' and 3 5/8 inches high, measured by Aurthur Benshiemer and Max Coiler.
