This was the Norman Davis farm until 1996 when it was purchased by oldest grandson, Gary Davis, who owned it until 2014. This is a centennial Davis/Shivers farm starting in 1896 with Walter Shivers as owner. Norman Davis married Lucille Shivers, daughter of Walter. Major renovations were completed in 1996 by Gary, and the newest aerial picture was taken in 2002 showing these. The 3 buildings in the foreground are still in use. The home was totally remodeled in 1996, keeping the front half of the house facing the road.
