I remember it when it was just pasture there across 42 and across the stilesville blacktop, was where Buzzy Sims lived. Now that's going back a long way. I remember when Sis's Dad was still alive and he would sit in the store and give kids money for candy. Used to be able to get a lunch meat sandwich for less than a dollar but I don't remember how much it was. I thought the world of Bud and Sis. Went to school 12 years with Linda and I guess I was friends with Pam.
I-70 wasn't built yet. The truckstop wasn't there. only three houses on the East side of the road before Mud Creek and I think only two on the west side. It was a nice little community.
