The original Fulmer Family Farm right before US 20 Bypass was constructed.
Now a Meijer's Store, McDonalds and a bank reside there.
Hose was moved over to Jackson Road and still exists.
Hi Kevin,
That's a tall barn, what did your family house in it?
It was a 2 story barn. Bottom was where we kept cattle, pigs and 4H sheep.
Top part was where hay and straw was stored along with 2 combines.
That tall shadow was where the silo was attached.
Silo was torn off the barn in a tornado in 1976 or 1977.
The back part of the barn was from the original Fulmer homestead that was on the hill where Riggs Power Equipment is at.
When the home and the barn was built in early 1900's, they moved that part up near the road and attached it to the back.
Barn was sold by Meijer's, taken apart and moved to somewhere in Utah.
