My dad was born on this piece of property, as his father was before him. My parents moved our family here in 1961, and my parents lived there until my fatherâs death in 2013. A lot has changed now-the house had to be demolished, and a lot of the trees either died out or were destroyed beyond recovery in storms over the years. I still live on part of the property today.
