A.E. Heck built this house in the early 1920's. McLaughlin family members lived and owned the house from 1950 to 1980. House design & materials came from Sears catalog. Home has since been updated ... but of the three outbuildings, only the barn in the top left remains. Unfortunately, most, if not all of the trees no longer exist. Home structure is white oak ... and withstood wrath of a tornado in the 1940's.
