The small building is Rock Island gas station. My Grandpa owned it in the 1950's.

Hi Eric, thank you for sharing your knowledge of the Rock Island gas station in the photo! Can you tell us more about what Wayne County was like in the 1950s? Were there any other notable businesses or landmarks in the area back then? It's interesting to see how things have changed since this photo was taken in 1970.
