The cafe/gas station (Tietz's)has been renovated several times over the years to be just a cafe. Now, it is a local "private" coffee gathering for local guys. The basic building is still there. In the foreground is a historical Morman Trail marker and flag pole. The storage bins behind the cafe are long gone. The building in the middle used to be Lindeman Repair. It has been renovated and is now Lyman Vet Clinic owned by Doug and Sarah Swain. It has pens and loading shoots out from the over head doors. The building clear to the right is and remains Newman Body Shop. It was started by Roy Newman, sold to his son Dennis, and now Roy's grandson David owns it. Tractors and trucks can still be seen as they stop for business in this area just off Highway 71 in Lyman eight miles north of Griswold and 13 miles south of Atlantic in Cass County.
