I believe this was my Grandpa and Grandma's farm. My uncle lived there at this time. Spent a lot of my childhood there. It is no longer owned by my family.

This is the farm near Buck Creek that I grew up on. I helped build that garage.

The house and garage are still there but most of the other buildings are gone. It is the only farmstead left on 2 miles of rural road that used to have 6 farms.

My husband and I were fortunate to earn a beginning farmer loan under the USDA to purchase the farmstead and 50 adjacent cropland acres in 2010. We are very proud to continue the legacy of this family farm for our family. Happy to see the comments and how beautifully the farm was cared for in the past.
