St. Johns Lutheran Church Northwest of Adair

My husband's ancestors donated the land for the church to be built on. Sadly, this summer, the church was closed. A sad ending to this beautiful church. I live just across the road, and south a little ways, and it still doesn't seem right that there is no one there on Sunday mornings!

Grew up less than 3 miles from this church. I mowed the lawn of the church and parsonage when I was young. So many great memories of attending with family & friends over the years. A truly sad sad day when it closed.
