Donald and Dorothy Visser Farm

This farm was purchased in Dec. 1943 by Fred Visser. March of 1963 Fred's son Harold (Nellie Bain) Visser purchased it. Then in March of 1968 Harold's son Donald (Dorothy Mc Williams) Visser purchased it. I am Carol Rozenboom daughter to Donald Visser. I was raised on this farm. In this picture it has the old 2 story barn that I stacked hay in for many years. The old house was taken down and the new one added in 1973. The old house sat directly behind the new one. My husband Randy and I farmed it for a few years. Then in March of 2007 our son Justin Rozenboom and his wife (Rebecca Mock) purchured it and curently live there. Before my Dad left the farm the took the roof off the old barn and lowered it to just a loft. Our son has removed most of the smaller buildings and added some larger machine sheds north of the old barn. It was a wonderful place to grow up and so thankful our son has it and it is still in the family. We farm with our son so we still get to work the land. 11.18.2021
