Known as Doc Perkins farm for years. Acres of green pastures dotted with black angus cattle. Several farm sites on the acres where employees and their families lived. Many will recall “Skyline Drive” and “Pepsi Lane” as popular spots. Doc Perkins was a medical doctor in Hedrick and made house calls. In 1969 he was honored with a Dr. Perkins Day, remembered for delivering more than 2000 babies in the area.
