Jim Wright lived there in the 60s-90s. He ran a barber shop in the60s on the west side of the square in Melcher-Dallas. He raised a wonderful family and graduated in the 50s. Jamie Reed lives there presently. She is a cook for Dallas Elementary.

Changes which have occurred with this residence are mainly outbuildings. Almost all the original farm buildings are no longer in existence. Some erosion has taken place west of the home due to run-off from the field north of the house. The hedge along the road has also been removed.
