Homer "Kay" and Beva Cline Calvert lived here after they retired from their storehouse at Alonzo. They bought it from Arthur and Adell Wallace in the spring of 1964 for about $10,000 but did not move to the home until they retired. Their son (Hoy)lived here at the time of his death in 1999 when Buddy Borders acquired it and now resides here.
