Gary & Verla Hicks owned house on left. Center building was a Garage and office. It has since been converted into rental property by Mr Hicks. Phil & Jenny Rice owned house on the right. Properties are located at 4151 Brooksville Germantown Rd, Augusta, Ky. Addresses used to be known as Route 1 Box 72 Augusta KY and/or also Hwy 10 near Delange Curve.
Personal connection: Gary and Verla Hicks are my parents and I lived in this house from 1974 - 1983. Phil and Jenny Rice were my Aunt and Uncle. The land behind the back fence was my grandparent, Stanley and Ethel Hicks's farm. If you look real close you can see me walking down thru the field toward the house. We frequently cut thru the fields while doing farm work. The farm to the left was owned by Joe and Betty Phillips.
