Emmitt and Geneva Poe's farm at Snag Creek and Hwy 1951. Hwy 1951 is visible in the top of the frame, and Snag Creek is at the bottom.
My mother grew up in this home, her mother and father lived there until their death. I spent a lot of my childhood on the farm

It was a tobacco and cattle farm. They bought it from Genevaâs parents sometime near the mid 1940s and lived there until Geneva passed in 2000.
