This is the Old Double Spring Distillery. It is no longer there. American Greetings Card Factory is there now. The Railroad went right beside it. My Grandfather helped build that rail line from Bardstown to Springfield, KY

Yes, my grandfather, John Sweeney, was superintendent of Greenbrier Distillery in the early 1900. My mother was born on the property in 1905 and lived there until probation. I have several 48" x 12" photographs of the distillery with pictures of my grandfather. Of course after probation Greenbrier was rebranded as Double Springs.
