This gas station and motel cottage community were located in Skylight, KY, across W. US Highway 42 from the general store (see photos 17-IOL-21 and 17-IOL-23). This property is all gone now, and the land is now occupied by Star Aviation, located at 9001 W. US Highway 42 in Goshen, KY. This property is also shown in photo 17-IOL-22. Many of the commercial buildings in Skylight folded when Highway 42 was replaced by Interstate 71 as the Louisville to Cincinnati Road.
