Garfield Slauenwhite farm Dyer Brook

I grew up here. My grandparents Garfield & Florence Slauenwhite were long time residents here. We had a small family dairy. I sure do miss the old homestead.

I used to spend time here. Florence was the sister of Henry Townsend. My father Clair Townsend was their cousin.

My husband, Charlie oldest son of Garfield and Florence, and myself, Carolee spent all our married life on this wonderful place. This farm was established in 1891. All the family had a hand in keeping it going until 2000 when Charlie and I had to give up our love because of health. Can you tell I loved this place? Still do with all our hearts!!

Know just how you feel Carolee !!
