The Ballard farm when this pic was taken. The barn closest to the house burned, with many animals lost. It is now the Stan And Gail Maynard Highland cattle farm.

Family lived here from 1965 until 1973. Lots of memories.

Leander Anderson owned this property from 1876 until 1917. The 16 room farmhouse was built in 1891. The farm was purchased by Peter and Lillian Johnson in 1917 and was passed on to his son Carl in 1946 who sold it to Raymond Ballard in 1965. My mother, Arlene, and my two brothers, Rodric and Stephen, spent our early years on this beautiful farm with our Dad, Carl.

Stan Maynard owned the farm up until 2016 when an investment group Dirt Capital LLC purchased it. It late fall 2021 I purchased the farm from Dirt Capital and after many years it will finally be back in potato production for spring of 2023.

The Barn fell down last winter and the house which at one time was quite a place was just too far gone to save. It was demolished November 2021.
