This road going up the hill is where the radar ball use to be. It was a military installation, surrounded by tall fencing. Before the ball was put in the Cote Rd. went to the top. After the ball was installed the road going to it was then renamed after the Sheen Road. The last folks living in that square house was the Crockets I believe. This installation no longer exists. This also is in Connor TWP.

I grew up down the street on the Cote Farm and in talking to my dad he remembers the Zimmerman family living there. The farmer was up in age by the 60’s and he believes the farm was sold to the military base and everything demolished to install the radar tower in late 60’s/early 70’s. None of the buildings existed into the late 70’s when I rode my bike down that street. My dad remembers my grandfather storing some of our potatoes in this potato house one fall.

I grew up on that land! That house wasn't there when we were there. We had a trailer and my dad and grandfather built the house that is there now. I remember riding our bikes up the big hill.
