This homestead belonged to My grand parents Eli & Violette ouellette and passed on to my parents James S. and Alfreda Madore. Mom’ s maiden last name was Ouellette. She was born in that house and so was I in 1936. Unfortunately in the picture to the left cuts out the house, the garage and the barn. Only the potato house can be seen. The photo shows the general store with several rental “cabins” Two Esso gas pumps front of the store. Is it possible to view the complete property especially inclusive of the house and out buildings?
I am the youngest of four. Bertrand, Velma and Jason ask siblings are deceased. I am 85 yrs. old

Yes so many memories my name is Michael Lajoie Mr James Madore sold his Farm back in the 60ths I believe to a Schell family. Daniel Schell still owns it today I have rented this farm from Dan my good friend since we were boys. Now I’m retired and Nath Marqius is renting the farm from Daniel Shell

Good morning, Michael,
Was Dan Schell associated with Loring Air Base in Limestone, Maine? My wife and I visited the farm on our way to Van Buren where my parents had moved. This is my childhood home. It originally belong to my grandparents, Mom’s parents. Too bad the aerial shot cut out the house, garage and barn. So many pleasant memories. Thank you for sharing. Rod Madore

Is there a complete aerial photograph of this farm. The main house and the attached garages and the barn are missing. Thank You R. Madore
