Address: 215 New Gloucester Road, New Gloucester. Farm became home to the Opportunity Farm for Boys in the 1910s when Dr. Alfred Williams Anthony and his sister, Kate, donated the farm and 100 acres to the cause of F. Forrest Pease. Disadvantaged boys lived at the farm, attended public school and helped with chores.
Around the time this photo was taken, the finishing touches were being added to two homes for disadvantaged girls. These homes were on nearby Short Bennett Road.
