At Center is the St. Bridget Center, Vassalboro, ME. Pictured: 854 Main Street (bottom left - burned or demolished prior to 2007), 860 Main Street (center left), 864 Main (St. Bridget Center), approx. 870 Main (bottom right - burned or demolished well prior to 2007), approx. 10 St. Bridget's Way (right, behind 870 Main - burned or demolished well prior to 2007), and 14 St. Bridget's Way (left, near the Outlet Stream).
As mentioned above, 854 Main, (approx.) 870 Main, and (approx.) 10 St. Bridget's Way have all been demolished or were burned. A new single-story home and garage was built on the plot where 854 Main once stood, and the St. Bridget Center would purchase the plots of 870 Main and 10 St. Bridget's Way at some point. Today these plots are part of parking and a large green grassy area to the side of the church.
The three buildings closest to the center all still stand, though they have seen their changes.
860 Main (center left) looks much the same, but has lighter paint, shutters, and has lost its chimney. The fencing around the left side is also gone.
The St. Bridget Center (center, right) still stands, but has also seen changes. It's hard to tell if the angle of the sun is causing the darkness or the paint, but by the 2000s the building was white. The building received new siding and paint between 2016 and 2023, and is now a two-tone yellow and green color scheme. The impressive tower top was lost before 2007, and replaced with a simple pitched roof.
14 St. Bridget's Way still looks similar, but has had some changes. The barn has since been demolished, and the front right window replaced by a standard one.
