There is no attachment from the house to Gararge! There are also no more attachments off the right hand side of the Gararge! Lastly, no building down by the road!

I use to take care of Mrs. Averill when Ralph worked they were really great people Miss them both....only thing left now is the main house....

I grew up on this farm with my Fatherm Mother, Grandmother and five children and an aunt and her three children. It was a wonderful time for all of us. All the buildings were there in 1930 when I was born. Sorry so much is gone but we thank our nephew for keeping the rest of it up.

I was there a lot with my grandfather and remember all of the buildings.

i was born here with all my siblings. a lot of the buildings are gone but glad my nephew saved the main house and part of the barn. lots of wonderful memories

Hi Beverly,
What was it like living in Penobscot County? Were there any standout experiences or traditions that you remember from that time? It's amazing that your nephew was able to save part of the barn and main house - can you tell us more about them? And how have things changed in the area since the photo was taken in 1963?
