Built in 1857 by Elisha Briggs. Owned by Kenneth & Hazel (Welts) Ruland when photo was taken. 100' barn taken by eminent domain to enlarge Rt. 150 in 1966. Ceased being a dairy farm in the '50's. In 2000 house was put on new foundation and extensive renovation began. Currently occupied by William & Mary Kay Santoro, granddaughter of Kenneth & Hazel Ruland. Ruland's moved here in 1911 and farmed and logged the property.
