Conley family farm on Maple rd. Atkinson.

This was our family farm. We moved there from Presque Isle in 1959. My father bought this farm from Hazel Farrar whose husband had died and she could no longer take care of it herself. He paid $10,000 for it at the time which seemed a fortune! We had a dairy farm there until mid 1970s. We were all expected to work hard alongside my father, whether it was in the barn milking or out in the very hot hayfield, we did what we were told. We were barefoot, happy and very healthy!

This was next door to the Roberts' house....it became my 2nd home! great memories of the farm and family! I think I did my share of putting the milkers together and tieing broken hay bales! We were always barefoot (what were we thinking?) Life was good!

Debra and Sheyll - so good to see this photo and read your comments. You must have had a whale of a time together!

My aunt Linda & uncle Mike Conleys place ❤️ so many memories were made here! My aunt recently passed away but Uncle Mike is holding the place down.

My family home! Lots of blood sweat & tears there. Wouldn't have changed a thing! My Dad Michael Conley Sr.is still going strong even though he sold the cows in 2004 after his grandson (my son) Logan passed away.
