344 BayPoint Rd. Georgetown, ME
The Oliver family homestead, A.K.A. The Three Bears House
Currently owned by Marjorie Oliver, my husband's maternal grandmother.
We live across the street :)
This is our father's home on what was named River Side Drive at first, and is now Bay Point Road. My father told us the age of the house when we visited him in 1970. Adding on to that time my sister, Judy, and I figured the age of the house at two hundred and seventy-five years. It was very possibly owned by Henry Oliver who married Rebecca McKinney (both of Georgetown). Henry was a patriot in the REV WAR. The next to own the house was Jacob Oliver, then Alonzo, Millard, Clarence, then my father James Robert Oliver. His second wife lives there now, Marjorie Jones Oliver.
