That's my house!

The house is over 200 years old. the road has been widened so the lawn is smaller around the house. We now only have about 3 1/2 ft from the road to the house maybe 4 ft. Our driveway is now way back maybe from the photo 6 ft back from where it used to be The Horse Chess nut (sp) tree is now gone in the back. A lot of changes since then.

Oh my word. The Town has taken so much more of my lawn!!!!! I now have about 2 1/2 ft from the road and this year they have killed my holly bush. They have almost killed my lilac (sp) bush that has been there for over a hundred years. I now have to step onto the road from my lawn as it has been so built up above my original grade. Progress is NOT always good!!!!!! Some things should just be left alone!!!!!~ Take an aerial picture now and you can see what is going on.
