The Mattingly place on Rt 16 North Anson.

I grew up here from 1967 to 1986

The Mattinglys went to school with my family. I forgot how small the roads (Especially RT 16 that goes through Embden to East New Portland and beyond, such as Lexington, the beginning of the Dead river which is the only river that runs North of Bingham< Maine on RT 201.

The Lane family lived here before the Mattinglys. I only remember Sharon Lane. There is a sandpit further back in the woods. It is flat and was a fun place to play as a kid.
