The DownEaster Restaurant in Sandy Point, Stockton Springs, ME On Route 1. They burned this down years ago after it had been turned into a store. A number of businesses started and failed over the years. The restaurant thrived for many years.

I was a waitress there for a couple of summers. They didn't serve alcohol, so I was a very young waitress.

The restaurant was owned by Harrie and Helen Partridge. They sold the land to Central maine Power in the early 1970's.
