Garsides Ice cream. Ferry Road, Saco, ME. Before all the Rich house were built around it

My grandparents, Dorothy & Burton Phillips lived across the street at 315 Ferry Road. Arthur Garside was a friend of the family & we would go to the house to watch him make the ice cream (in the wing behind the house). This arial shows the pathway that lead to the shop, the chicken coop, and the chimney where waste was burned.
