We moved in 1973 6 weeks after my 8th sibling was born. I found an Indian arrow head while looking fir rocks w/ my baby sister.
There were trees all the way up behind the house when we moved in and the addiction on the right side of house was flat top to garage. My dad, his brother Leo, his brother inlaws and my moms uncles helped to build it. What grass you see behind pond is all fields to the right is pine trees
The back woods that was left behind the Edison line was turned into a nature trail for walking, riding, building forts and feeding deer( dad in the last 15 years planted pumpkins by the woods so Mama deer & her triplets every year could stop and fee on there way past. Spent may hours watching them from the back doorwall running, jumping, and grazing w/ mom.
All the small trees around the inside of the drive way are 30 + ft tall,
Little barn & correl were taking down many years ago. Housed a sassy pony & a pig at one time.

2000/2001 pole barn behind house behind trees to the right of driveway. Chicken coop used to be at the south end of where the pole barn is now located. Lots of chickens, a mallard duck, a mean goose.

All of us children spent hours picking rocks in the fields to the right of the house ( just sent s picture of my baby brother in that field about age of 4 to him a few months ago)
where dads immaculate red & black raspberry bushes, gooseberries & current bushes and many veggies; when he wasn't working for the tech center.

So many memories playing games behind the house with are favorite red headed neighbors or are 2 favorite youngest neighbors across the street swimming in the pond, major snow ball fights out front with huge forts to protect us, sitting by the bone fire, caughting fire flies, practicing baton, cheerleading, driving cars, derb cars, fair time and learning are skills for cooking, baking, cleaning, etc.... In the house, life and being the best mom/ grandma ever.
Mom brought the Santa secret shop to Armada schools & was the president of the PTA, on the the board of IMSD, cubs scout leader how could she not I had 6 brothers, hahaha!

Love my small town of Armada and all the special memories it holds & my yearbooks help but this picture says a whole lot more 💚
My youngest sister know owns the house so it will stay in the family ❤️

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting this site and soon o will be getting a print
