Photo 20-HMU-30

Wow, how cool to see this old photo of my grandparents old homestead. I grew up across the street but I spent a lot of time playing here. My mom and dad built the small house on the far right of the photo. It was a two room house about 300 square feet. They built that in 1948. My grandparents moved into this house about 1940. My uncle lived across the street but had horses in the barn for awhile. My dad and I raised some pigs in the barn in the late 70s.
The house and the little house are the only buildings still standing and the big black walnut tree in back yard is gone. The snowball tree in the front yard was taken out years ago as well.

I love this picture. This is also my grandparents place. I lived across the road and my parents were the ones that had the horses. I loved going to my grandparents such wonderful memories. Neil...Thank you so much for sharing this picture...maybe a lot of changes now to the farm...but never any changes in my heart for the memories...I am Neil`s cousin.
