This is the Buth dairy farm located in beautiful "downtown" Eastmanville, MI. One of the barns burnt down several years ago. The horse training area and riding ring (lower left)has disappeared. The barns are still all well kept up, in lovely deep forest green paint. It is still an active dairy, with black & white Holsteins producing milk for ice cream and artisan cheese. One of the barns is home to the Saturdays only farm store to indulge in creamy treats.
The house you see is my dad's Jim Buth. Many of the maple trees have died off, the rings where we trained horse's are still there as us horse barn, indoor riding arena etc. The pool is behind dads house rather than by our grandpas house which has been bought by my younger brother John Buth (not to confuse him with my uncle John Buth. He moved the house to the east side of property along 60th avenue
Also the smaller barn on north side did burn down band replaced with a much larger barn

My grandmother worked at Buth Dairy in 1941-42 in Grand Rapids, MI. She kept a scrapbook of those years in which are names and a rather large company picnic photo. Such interesting entries about the Buth family and dairy that includes newspaper articles, names, pictures and fun captions.
