As a small child i lived on the Dembowske Farm on the west side of Lange rd. My dad farmed it working for Alfred . About 1961 we moved to Sebewaing and still worked on the farm as at that time a large chicken coop was locate north of the barns and the summer of 1961 all i did was gather eggs as it housed 25000 hens which produced about 16000 eggs a day.
