This is our home. We came out to live on the Peterson Ancestral farm in the spring of 1979 after the death of Graydon's father. We are the 3rd generation to occupy the farm. Bradley was a senior in HS, Nancy a junior in HS, and Betty Jo going into the 4th grade. The house we moved into had an old woodshed and a summer kitchen on the West end and Cedar shakes as siding with lots of boxcelder bug nests behind the shakes. We made the building farthest accross from the house (called the "new barn") into a playhouse for Betty Jo. In front of the garden was a pig shed and a corn crib. The garage on the end had an extention built on to accomodate the length of the new automobiles. It has now been replaced with a Pole barn garage. In the foreground along the driveway was the chicken house with a two seater out house on one end. The "new barn", pig shed, corn crib, old garage and the chicken house have all been torn down. The woodshed and the summer kitchen was torn down and a 720 square feet addition built onto the original house. We have been blessed. A wonderful place to live and to raise a family.
