I grew up just blocks from here. This is the corner of Hwy. 51 and the "Boy Scout Road" (aka Tonkawa Road) on Lake Minnetonka. The water in the foreground is Crystal Bay and the bay behind the building is Maxwell Bay. The building had a Pure Oil gas station on the left, a space in the middle that I remember as an insurance office and the far right part of the building was North Shore Grocery, one of many small mom & pop groceries that existed around the area at that time. We used to walk or bike ride to the store (in our bare feet) to get a candy bar or popcicle.
