I grew up here, my grandparents still lived here in '77. (I was born in '76).We moved in in '78. Thats Grandpa's Allis-Chalmers tracor (mine now) backed up by the garage. So many memories here playing (and working) in that big barn which sadly burned down in the 90's. It was replaced by 2 metal sheds. Most of the big elms died from the dutch elm disease in the 90's. My parents sold the farm in 2011 and neighbors bought it. The house is still there but they've built on to it from all sides. All the maples died from old age and are now gone. The little (we called it the model T shed because it was built for exactly that in the 1920s) west of the house is gone now.Dad had a newer dairy barn built in the 80s which isn't in this photo, its behind the garage. He also had a metal shed built west of the house in about 1979 or 80. Its not in this photo. Wish everything could stay the same.
