Perhaps best known in the 1940s and 1950s as Olney, MO school house. I think it closed about 1962, consolidating with Silex School District, with student then being transported to school in Silex, MO. Five rural one-room school districts near by had been consolidated in 1945 into a single district at this school in Olney. Since its closing, it has had numerous other businesses there.
